Our Story

AFFORDABLE CRESTACO PROPERTIES is a wholly Zimbabwean owned organization that was officially registered as a Trust in 2012 (Reg No. MA 1251/12).

The Trust has a national appeal as it has an intention to have a branch network in all the 10 provinces of the country. To date, the Trust has a national membership of over 1500 and 3 branches.

The core mandate of the Trust is to mobilize urban and rural low-income citizens for a collective action in pursuit of the goal of Social Housing Delivery. The Trust came into being after the realization that urban and rural low-income earners were individually unable to afford and realize the dream of homeownership. However, if mobilized, the same group would achieve home ownership through collective action.

Corporate Governance

AFFORDABLE CRESTACO PROPERTIES corporate structures have been modelled both in keeping general principles of good social corporate governance and in compliance with the dictates or with the provisions enshrined in the Deed of Trust.

It is only through a neatly woven and well-articulated corporate governance structure that we are better placed to deliver on our mandate of social housing delivery to the satisfaction/fulfillment of stakeholders' expectations.

Board of Trustees

The Trust is managed by a Board of Trustees, who specialized in various fields ranging from construction, finance, administration, transport, and land development. The Trustees have a five-year mandate to run the Trust.

Secretariat

Responsibility for managing the day-to-day projects and administrative affairs of the Trust lies with the secretariat. The Chief Executive Officer provides overall national leadership to the Trust. Management style is via two decentralized models: delegation and de-concentration (spatial).

Chief Executive Officer

Sikumbuzo Ncube is currently holding the position of Chief Executive Officer. He holds several Certificates, Diploma, Degree in various fields in Quantity Surveys, Marketing, Public Relations, Projects Development and Management and Finance from London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) which aligns well with the Construction Industry.

Partnerships

AFFORDABLE CRESTACO PROPERTIES endorses and embraces the ideology of "smart partnerships". The Trust has entered into mutually beneficial partnerships with a number of technical and funding organizations/institutions to harness vast repositories of external technical expertise and funding opportunities.

Technical Partners

Africa Development Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd (ADC) offers integrated services in areas of town planning, environmental planning, land surveys, soil tests, engineering designs, feasibility studies and projects management.

Financial Partners

We work with various financial institutions to provide funding solutions and banking services to support our housing development projects and member services.
